PRADEEP VAIDYA

Pradeep has been working in theatre for over twenty five years as a writer, director, music composer, singer, light designer, theatre trainer & theatre manager. He is an alumnus from the first batch of SMART Workshop (by Junoon, ITF & IFA.) He has, to his credit a META each for Best Light Design in 2007, 2011& 2016 besides several nominations in all these years. Other prestigious awards for his all-round work in theatre include MIFTA (2012), Zee Gaurav Awards for lights (2008, 2013,) for writing (2014, 2019) for setting and direction (2019) He has also been awarded Tanveer Natyadharmi Puraskar (2012) by Roopvedh Pratisthan run by Mrs Deepa and Mr Shreeram Lagoo. His organisation Expression Lab has been instrumental for last 10 years in Pune Theatre ecosystem. He owns and manages a brand new black box theatre named The Box in Pune.
